Guest guest
I just got info from Health Valley Products that says that their Corn Crunch-Ems and Rice Crunch-Ems cereal could have a cross-contamination problem. Here's their disclaimer about the products: " Gluten-Free Ingredients: this means that the ingredients used in the product do not inherently contain gluten. However, in most cases, gluten containing products are produced on the same production lines. Consumers need to make their own informed decision about consuming these products. " I'm new to GFCF, but these cereals are the only GFCF ones I've purchased that he'll eat. I think that's because they look similar to several non-GFCF cereals he ate previously. Do any of you know of other similar looking/tasting GFCF cereals? If your children are particular sensitive to G and C and they have eaten this cereal, have you noticed any adverse reaction in them. No. But we've also been giving our son Nutty Rice which is ok as far as we know. The problem we've found with cereals too is that our son doesn't like any brand of rice milk we've found, or when we tried making it ourselves. He does like soy milk and is sometimes now having that with cereal. My wife makes crepe style pancakes out of sorghum now and that goes over big with everyone!
