Guest guest
Thanks Sue for your insight, gives me hope that hopefully this won't drag out forever, like it sure feels like its doing LOL I agree about the whole patience issue. I never fully realized how totally impatient I was until I got that acceptance letter in my hands. > > > > > > > > Misty & Connie, I am also going through Richmond. Guest guest
Misty, from Richmond Bariatric Dept just called me to set-up my surgey consult appointment with Dr. Baags (yeah! it's scheduled for June 30th). Anyways - I asked if it was true about the 1 year delay/wait for new Richmond referrals. stated that this is absolutely not true - there is no 1 year delay or wait list on anything! She stated that all newly accepted patients will be notified within 2 months from acceptance of an Orientation date. I hope this helps! Guest guest
well hell why would my PCP here in Sacramento tell me its a year out? And if thats the case of 2 months from acceptance and the orientation, how come I am looking at 12 weeks from acceptance for my first appt and its not orientation? wow how confusing, think I should call again? > > > > > > > > > > > > Misty & Connie, I am also going through Richmond. Guest guest
Sue, Where did you ck online to see if orientation appt was made. I know I have no patience either. My husband is the most patient person on earth, so he has no clue! how hard it is. Looking forward to quicker movement. calsnoozie wrote: Misty - OUCH! It's hard to believe that they are now 1 year out!! I should be getting a call from from the Bariatric Dept sometime the next few days to set-up my Surgery Consult. I will ask her if this is true for newly accepted patients. This whole process is definately teaching me patience! (Connie - my husband would also agree that I have NO patience!!). I don't mind waiting as long as there is communication from the other side telling me what is next and when.... Once I completed the Psych Eval - I was so anxious for the orientation date. I use to check on line several times a day to see if the orientation appt was booked! OK - maybe I have no life )Based on my experience so far - once Orientation was done - things started moving along quickly - especially if you start the recommended 1200 calorie plan to start losing the 10%. I just now need to have a consistent exercise routine which I am starting to work on!!! Take care,Sue from Vacaville> > >> > > Misty & Connie, I am also going through Richmond. Guest guest
thats exactly what she was referring to, so I guess thats why I am so confused by the contradicting info given in here > >well hell why would my PCP here in Sacramento tell me its a year out? > >And if thats the case of 2 months from acceptance and the > >orientation, how come I am looking at 12 weeks from acceptance for my > >first appt and its not orientation? wow how confusing, think I should > >call again? > > Eleanor Oster > eleanor@...
