OK, when i wore a size 24/26, I knew where to shop. I knew who made

clothes that fit me and I knew where to find them. I knew what I

liked and what looked " OK " on me (nothing looked really good mind

you!). I would get very frustrated when I needed something for a

certian occasion and I found the perfect outfit, but the wrong sizz.

THat seemed to happen alot. I generally wore one or two brands of

clothing, occasionally getting another brend if I ran across

something different accidentally. I rarely had to try the clothes on

before i bought them.

Now, I have a basic idea where to shop- but i am sure I need to

expand my horizons. All brands are different in sizes. I have no

idea what looks good on me, and everything fits different. I have

WAY too many choices.

I went out shopping today. I was able to fit in anything from a size

8-12. Depending on the brand, and what part of the body it was to go

on. All I wanted was a simple capri pant with a top to wear out to

dinner tonight. So, I tried on about 15 pairs of capri's, and 10

tops. THe tops are not too bad, those all fit, but bottoms...wow..

and I found one skirt I loved. Tried on a 10..too big...went back to

the rack...you guessed it...lots of size 6 and size 12, but NO size

8.

So over an hour later, I did find a nice pair of red capri pants,

and a cute sleeveles top that ties in the front and it looks nice. I

even bought some shoes (dont get me started on shoe shopping!!)

I was hoping that this would get easier as I could fit into more

clothes. I have found that I don't really fit into clothes any

better, There are just alot more other there that I don't fit in to

well!! I am still going to have to find a few brands that fit well

and try to stick with them.

Do you get the idea that I REALLY hate shopping?? You know that

comercial where the woman says " I was born with out a shopping

gene. " ? Thats me!

I sometimes think I would be a good canidate for the " what not to

wear " show on The Learning Channel.
