Guest guest
Sheryl- Actually, the protein is mostly 9in the white, what the white doesn't have is fat. At least this is what I believe the case to be. You could probably sub out the egg beaters for a scoop of protein powder. Amy Y. Guest guest
I'll have to try it just for varity. I like my Pro Complex. It's not chalky or grainy and I mix it with strawberries, bananas, peaches and it's very good. Guest guest
- The biggest pro is that the protein is actually absorbable because it is predigested. I'm not sure that there are any cons. I'm currently on a 3 day protein fast, day 3. I had gained 3.5 pounds from eating way too many carbs. Also, my surgeon's assistant tried to tell me that the protein drinks are too high in calories and that I shouldn't be doing as many as I was, which was about 3 a day. Well, on Monday, I had 5 drinks, and a little bit of food protein in the evening, and lost those 3.5 pounds in the first day. Yesterday, I lost another half pound. I also had a terrible headache last night, maybe from carb withdrawal? I'm leaning towards the fact that there are no cons when it comes to protein drinks. Jeanne in WI Age 39 - Dr. T.
