Without Helmet

Took Spencer for his check-up last Tuesday and we had a new cast done

for a new helmet to be made. His current helmet was getting very snug

so the Ortho split it, but then once she saw how it looked on, she took

it off and told us Spencer can go without until she rushes the new

helmet through. I hate the thought of all the hard work done with the

old helmet going down the drain and Spencer's head flattening more

while we wait for the new helmet. Not much can be done though. I think

myself greatful, I have read how so many on here have to pay thousands

for their babes helmets. Because of our wonderful governments medicare

scheme here in Australia, I have not paid a red cent. There's no way I

could ever afford to pay what other's have paid overseas.

By the way, I have put a couple of Spencer's photo's in the 'S' Folder.

They are on the last page. It is really hard to tell with the before

helmet photo because Spencer has so much hair.

Cheers,

Alison (Burnie, TAS, Australia)

Spencer - 10 months, brachy and helmet (8 weeks)
