Guest guest
You were at 353. Let us say your goal was 153. That'd be 200 to lose. You lost 142 (or 71%) You're not at 243 (for round numbers), which would be 56%. If you're a proximal RNY, that's above the national average, actually. By most standards, you are considered a success if you lose & maintain 50% and/or get rid of your comorbs. BUT, I know what you mean about how YOU feel, never mind the technicalities. What kind of surgery did you have? Who's the doc? What kind of post-op regimen were you given? Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I am wondering if you are really wanting to know the percentages or if you are wanting to do something different. The only reason I ever want to know percentages is to either find out my progress or beat myself up. I am going to make a suggestion and hope you are not offended. I think therapy would help tremendously. It has helped me in the past to deal with why I was eating and my new body image. I am considering going back to therapy as soon as medicare kicks in.
