Guest guest
Dama, The prenatal are OK before surgery. After surgery you will need a mega vitamin or a high potency vitamin. That is why I get mine at Trader Joe's. You can get the Bariatric's Advantage at Kaiser that are chewable for after surgery also. Usually after surgery your throat is a bit irritated from the breathing tube so a chewable is better. The vitamin B 12 is taken twice a week. You do not want to use Tums for your calcium after surgery you will need to get Calcium Citrate. The Tums have Calcium Carbonate and in order for your body to be able to absorb it you need stomach acid which you will no longer have enough of to do that. With Calcium Citrate you do not need stomach acid. Ramona
