Guest guest
Nan, my common chanel is 80 cm and my stomach is two fingers wide so its fairly small. I know I can't eat much at a time and I have lost 88 lbs in the last 5.5 months so I know its working like it's supposed to. It's just that the weight loss has slowed down in the last two months to being only 6 or 7 lbs per month. I was just wondering if that's normal and if that's what other people who have reached their goal or are near to goal have experienced. I have about 40 lbs to reach my goal and I am assuming that when you get to a lower weight the weight loss slows down. That's what I was trying to ask my doctor and he just said, " well I'll write you a prescription for Phentermine. " I don't want Phentermine, I know I will get to my goal weight eventually, I just wondered if the slower weight loss after 6 months was normal if you are getting close to goal. I don't want to say who my doctor was, because I don't want to flame him, he did save my life after all. We do have a local support group and I didn't ask if he has done this with anyone else. Thanks to all who have responded to this question already.
