Guest guest Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 Hi everyone, Just wanted to check in and give you an update.........I have been VERY ill for the last several days and was afraid the histoplasmosis was back, but I am pretty sure it was just a strain of flu that my shot did not cover. I did not feel well all last week and Friday afternoon I suddenly started vomiting constantly and had diahreah.......this went on until yesterday afternoon. I lost 6 lbs and I am sure it was all water............but I did finally stop vomiting, altho I still have a little diahreah..... My daughter-in-law had a slight case of it and my little grandaughter did also, so I am sure it is a virus. Anyway, I am getting better so I will be around now. I am certainly thankful it was not histoplasmosis! I have been trying to read all the emails but I just could not answer them. To all who have had birthdays and anniversaries, I hope they were great days and I wish you all much happiness. To the new members -- welcome and although I hate that you are in the position to have this Sarc Monster, I am glad that you found us. We have around 550 members and we are like a family. We have lots of knowledgeable people here and most are willing to share their knowledge and experiences with everyone. Just ask and you will get some answers. The big thing is to be patient -- we are ALL sick here, including the two owners and the moderators, so it might be a day or two before we can answer your question. We also have Archives where all the old messages are (I am working on cleaning out the unnecessary messages now) and you can search them for a lot of info. We have Files also that are very helpful. Again, welcome, and feel free to ask questions. To all of you -- thanks for the emails I have received and the well wishes. I have had a rough time of it lately (as all of you have, I know), but I am doing better and hopefully will be able to help more. I know Tracie is having a hard time right now and needs some time away .......... and I think most of our Moderators are also having a tough time right now. But............we WILL make it. Sorry this is so long........but wanted you all to know that I have been thinking about you all and missing you.
