Alice,

You may find a surgeon who will perform the surgery with a low

albumin level but it won't be safe for you. Now is the time to begin

working with your PCP to find ways to bring your albumin levels up. I

am not that familira with this but perhaps thru nutrition and

supplements you can get these levels up.

Theresa: Hot dog --- I stepped on the scale this morning and I'm.... 215!!!

I'm on a real roll here, man! So, I started out rather 'slow' (well, still

not a bad rate) when I lost 15 lbs at three weeks post-op. I've had my

plateaus (and I'm sure I'll have more), times when I seriously worried

whether or not I would still lose or 'stall out', but I can say that,

happily, I'm still losing and feelin' fabu! :):)

So, I'm living proof to any pre-ops and struggling post-ops that the surgery

DOES work and we WILL get where we want to be! :)

I'm counting down now at only 8 lbs away from losing 100 lbs!!! YAHOO!!!

I'm going to Outback Steakhouse for the Prime Rib, man! LOL

Thanks so much for your encouraging and kind words! :) I've been so

stressed out about this terrorism stuff (living here in Brooklyn) and I've

had some painful episodes of gas in the past two weeks (brought on by stress

and IBS - ouch!)... It's such a pleasant surprise to see my body is 'working'

and the surgery is doing it's job regardless!

all the best,

WOW.. its just falling off of you!

I hope I do so well after this plateau.. I'm having my first real " oh

no its stopping I'll need a revision " panic attacks here- Watching

your numbers drop is such a comfort (yep, I'm strange). You go,

girl.. You're practically in the 100's... when do we see new

pictures???
