I've emailed with them...the guy I talked to has no interest in this. Said I

had to work with the insurance and they don't have to cover it. Now my

understanding is Basic Health DOES NOT cover wls. If you have an open coupon

or disability, you can get the RNY....not the DS>

I hope you can find away around...if so I'll go back and fight it again but

right now I'm hoping they pay for my blood work every three months so until I

find something solid, I'm waiting...LOL

Good luck and keep me posted..I have a whole support group of people up here

with the same problem...maybe we can all do something as a group to get some

attention.

Its called Sterling and I believe is available to only those on medicare and

medicare disability.
