re-ordering my calcium. I switched to MCHA (Microcrystalline

Hydroxyapatite) after my PTH levels came back high indicating I

wasn't getting enough calcium. I had been taking the Citracal Plus

(Citrate) and wasn't sure I was absorbing it well enough. I am still

awaiting the results of the latest bloodwork to see if the MCHA is

working better.

I think it was you I was thinking of.. I remembered you and Dawn both

mentioning MCHA, so I figured I'd check our other sources. I have the

metagenics brand bottle here in my hand.. each tablet contains

1000mg of MCHA; 337mg of calcium and 177mg of phosphorus from MCHA and

dicalcium phosphate.. I have been taking 2 MCHA and 3 calcium

citrate, but like Steve said, the MCHA is more expensive, so I'm

trying to shop around.

I looked at that site.. it looks interesting, but I'd like to see some

validation from nutritionists or surgeons before trying it (but then

I'm petrified of having osteoparosis in my old age). If it turns out

to be a valid source of well-absorbed calcium, I'm interested! Anyone

else have any input??

You're welcome! What is the URL for the vitamin site? I'd like to check

it out.
