Guest guest
Are you talking about 's or MArkell's? We got Ponseti to write us a Letter of Necessity stating that The brace was imperative to Gabe's correction maintenance. We included a personal letter stating that bracing is literally saving them thousands$ in surgical expenses, and without it we would surely be in the OR. We included a description of the 's and a picture of GAbe wearing them. A lot of insurance companies , from what I 've heard, won't pay for just the ortho shoes... so you have to explain to them the the shoes are ,in fact, attached to a bar (adjustable or otherwise). Anyway, hope this helps. Most of all, bug them until you are out of appeals. From what I've heard they always deny coverage the first time....often the second... Just be a thorn in their sides. Good Luck! Faith artlovr wrote: I have seen this mentioned several times on here but we were not at that point and I did not expect to have any problems with our insurance covering the shoes. I ordered them right before Christmas and got a letter Saturday saying coverage was denied. I can appeal -- does anyone have any advice on what to say or include in a letter? lcf 6-19-
