Guest guest
You know, few people here have posted about egg custards, flans or even puddings. Rice pudding, corn pudding, bread pudding... But most of those are, I think, greatly satisfying comfort foods that are really soft, and can be warm or cold. Not all are terribly sweet, eather. Polenta, too? They're pretty easy to do with mixes, but they're wonderful when someone will make them from scratch. And can be full of calories, if your cholesterol conscience will allow, but are good without, too. And chocolate pudding, of course. I just wonder if we're missing a boat. Pastes, too. Shrimp paste. Liver paste (OK. I admit it. I like liver, especially in a paste made with sherry.) Other meat pastes. With blenders and food processers these pates, pastes are easier than ever to do. C. You cannot imagine, Jane, how much I would adore to be told to gain weight. I'm with Rosie O'Donnell, who, on the Martha show, was preparing homemade potato chips. Martha, encouraging her to slice the potatoes a bit thicker, said, " You're getting a too thin there. " Rosie replied, " Martha... That's the first time anyone has ever said to me that I'm getting a little too thin. " Moi aussi. Helas. > > Jo, > > Thanks, I appreciate your response.
