Guest guest
I would really like to find a good sling carrier for Maddie. I have the Infantino sling carrier, but as far as I can see, it's not very compatible with the FAB. What slings have any of you had success with. Maddie's car seat carrier is too cumbersome now, and if I ever want to get any shopping done again, I need to have Maddie in a sling, and in the shopping cart. Any suggestions will be great. Also, once I get a carrier, what position is most comfortable and easiest to make? I have discovered that the second baby has pretty much destroyed my brain, so the easier the better :-). - Michele 3.5yrs going on 30 and Maddie 9/6/05 bcf s 20/
Guest guest
I bought the Lucky Baby Sling, and I really like it, I just have yet to learn to use it right so that it's quick for me. I'd actually be willing to part with it for very cheap, if it would fit you. I bought a Large and really think I need a medium. In fact, I'll be ordering the Medium next week. The one I have now is black and celery(green) reversible. Let me know if you're interested. has done well in the hip carry, even with the FAB on, but it's a little less supportive than I'd like. (like I said, I'm a novice, so I'm sure this is due to my inexperience!!) When he's not wearing the FAB, he LOVES LOVES LOVES the kangaroo carry, as do I!! In fact, my 2 y/o loves it, too! go figure. ee showed me pics of her little one facing forward, but I haven't tried it yet. HTH Stacee > > I would really like to find a good sling carrier for Maddie. Guest guest
Look on the web for Maya wraps, both adjustable and non-adjustable. I had dh take some pics of me the other night using my sling but they didn't go through when I tried to send them here for the group, I need to work on that then you can sort of see how a sling can work with the casts or FAB in place. Are you subscribed to the CFpics site? Also Stacee had some pics she sent to me the other day if she wouldn't mind sharing those, they don't show the FAB but are good reference pics. s. Guest guest
Stacee as your son gets stronger he'll handle the hip carry better. He looked a little young yet for that one to me. And if you tuck him in further in to the sling that's leading up over your shoulder, the fabric will wrap around him and hold him nicely. I'm trying to send those pics to the cfpic group right now for others to look at. s Re: Baby wearing I bought the Lucky Baby Sling, and I really like it, I just have yet to learn to use it right so that it's quick for me.
