Guest guest
Why is my little girl's urine totally colorless for the past 2 or 3 days (at least that's when I began to notice)? Still on Stage 1 of the Diet, but started a month ago. My understanding is that when you're well hydrated, you should pee pale, but there's still a tiny bit of yellow tint to it. Now, I haven't been pushing fluids on Lizzie, so I can't believe she's suddenly well-hydrated.
Guest guest
Clear urine is better than cloudy or dark urine. Means your daughter is staying hydrated, and that is a good thing. Have you noticed whether she is going more often? The more frequently you urinate, the less color you should see. If you are concerned, then do check with her doctor. I don’t know enough about kidney problems or other issues that might have clear urine as a symptom. I have problems with dehydration, even though I drink constantly, so I am happy when I see very little color in my urine; usually I have the opposite problem [sigh]. Kim M.
