Guest guest
I agree with Chris. We pay over $300 a month in health insurance, plus $150 per person per year (x4), plus many tests aren't covered which represents additional costs. Why the hell am I paying all this money, when I hardly use the services? I'm gearing up to be denied by my insurance. They have already had to pay for back surgery. If they deny the DS, they will have to pay for additional osteo surgeries, as my ability to walk becomes more impaired yearly. They should pay for the DS. Getting the additional weight off my body (which I'm unable to do due to conjoined and pinched nerves in my back) will probably go a long way to alleviating the pains that shoot down my leg and may prevent further osteo surgeries. > I am open to accusations of being hypocritical. I could afford to > shell out $12,000. But let me ask, what the HELL have I been (or my > employer) been paying these BIG premiums for all the years! > > I have been continuously covered since I was a toddler, and now I > deserve to have proper medical treatment without shelling 12 big ones > out of my own pocket. > > I do think that charging an additional fee for filing the paperwork > really adds insult to injury.
