Guest guest
Terry,All polysaccharides are illegal. With a compromised gut, the body does not breakdown the di and poly saccharides and so they go partially or completely undigested into the intestines where the bad bacteria feast and overgrow on them. This is the main premise of Elaine's theory. And although aloe vera juice might have some beneficial properties (especially for burns on skin), the whole polysaccharides issue will negate most if not all benefit of any benefit that might be had when taken internally. I did the research, sent a reply with 3 citations and paragraphs, but haven’t seen my email that I sent this afternoon. The gist of it is Lotus root is illegal because it contains polysaccharides. Apologies if this is redundant. Carol CD 22 yrs SCD 5 yrs
