There are times when you go to work and feel as though you have one of those

thankless jobs. I know the feeling, I am a school teacher. However, there are

more days than not that you understand why you have chosen the profession that

you have. I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire staff at Cranial

Technologies in NJ. It's because of their kindness and caring ways that make

their job so important to families like mine. Briefly let me share my story.

Approximately a month ago, I took my son up to CT in NJ. Our first visit

revealed that my son was on the severe side of plagio. and brachio.. Our

clinician, Purvey, spent a great deal of time explaining everything. I was

confident that I made the right choice with this company. A week later, my

son's helemt came in. I thought it seemed too big, but what did I know. We

live about 60 miles away, and traffic was bumper to bumper that night. By the

time we got home, it was bedtime. You could probably imagine the terror I felt

when I woke in the middle of the night to screaming. I walked into my son's

room to find the helmet covering his eyes. I immediately fixed it and he went

back to bed. It happened again and by the third time I just took the helmet

off. The next morning, I called the office and spoke with my favorite guy,

Darren. He has such a great sense of humor and still manages to be incredibly

professional. I explained the situation and he immediately conveyed my message

to Purvey. She in turn called me back and listened to what I was saying. Not

once did she pasify me or make me feel that I was doing something wrong. She

then spoke with corporate and they decided to rescan and make a new helmet.

They made this decision without even seeing the helmet. They listened to me and

believed my observation. That was a big plus in my book. The next day I went

back up to Paramus and my son was rescanned. Purvey did a scan comparison and

found my son to be tilting forward in the first one. The next week I took my

son back for his helmet and I thought we had a perfect fit. Boy was I wrong.

The helmet was moving way too much. Purvey, again spoke with corporate, and

decided to remake the helmet. Yes, I was frustrated. But more than anything, I

was concerned that this helmet may not be good for him. I wasn't questioning

the product or the results...just the fit with my child. Purvey assured me that

she would do whatever it took to get it right. And that brings me to today.

Today, my son received his 3rd helmet. It certainly seems like a better fit,

but I haven't faced the middle of the night yet....... I can't say at this

point whether the helmet is a perfect fit, but I can say that the treatment that

we have received at CT in NJ has been nothing short of outstanding. The time

and energy that this entire office has put into my son has been incredible. The

compassion and involvement that Purvey has kindly given to me has been well

worth my long trips there and back. I don't know the outcome yet, but I do know

that there are a lot of caring people out there that are in the right

profession. With that said, THANK YOU CT in NJ.
