" I have heard about the depression, which is common (I think) after any surgery due to the effects of the meds, etc. But suicide? I haven't heard any mention that anyone is more prone to that after DS. Where have you heard this? Does anyone else know if this is true? Carole Carol, m'dear, suicide and depression go hand in hand. You get a major depression, you are at more risk for suicide. You watch out for symptoms of Major Depression in order to nip the suicide possibility in the bud. This is psychology, not WLS.
