ok... i went to my regular doctor today and he poked and proded a

bit and listened to my belly and said i had " good bowel sounds " . he

ordered an abdominal ultrasound which i will take tomorrow morning

because it needs to be on an empty stomach - no food or water after

midnight.

he thinks it's just a pulled muscle... i did lift something kind of

heavy on saturday - what the heck was i thinking?

Always, always, contact your surgeon immediately. Waiting can delay

healing should something be wrong. Your surgeon needs to know any

problems you encounter asap so proper intervention can be started if

needed. He should be the only one to dismiss pain as normal.
