Hi Sue!

I think my layered look is too short to make an effective french braid--

plus I am incapable of doing anything so useful to anyone else's hair,

let alone my own! When I was stuck in the TCU for three weeks with my

open panni incision, I could shower and wash my hair-- the VAC dressing

is virtually water proof. But my hair still tied itself in knots and

basically looked like hell. I was considering turbans. Then I thought

hacking it all off short and perming the top would keep it fluffy at

least, instead of all flat and nasty. Oh the trials and tribulations of

vanity! Actually, I am just trying not to scare the orderlies.
