Guest guest
Years ago my sister was disabeled after a acoustic nueroma operation. She had a shunt also as water collected in her brain. She could not walk, her balance was affected, her face was disfigured, she could not swallow, her speech was bad, she was deaf in one ear. I could go on and on. I was her care giver. I applied for SSI for her over the phone. Sent in all documentation from many doctors. She was denied. I got her into the car, took her into an appointment and was GRANTED SSI on the spot! " Sometimes a picture ( in person interview) is worth a thousand words " . So you might do better in person.
