Guest guest
But isn't the DGB a partial removal of the stomach, which they listed as an exclusion? alyssa Re: Paritally Approved by Aetna !? Alissa, Indeed it is a strange letter. I think that Dr. Anthone wrote it up a distal gastric bypass, and that part is approved (though I am not sure). I will find out on Monday. After you actually get your procedure, everybody has to take payments you can afford, so float them a few dollars every month and go on with your life thinner, healthier, and active. This being said it does sound like they are willing to pay for a portion of the procedure, so any complications would be covered. Furthermore, I would think that any complications on the stomach part would be covered because they cover people for stupid (in their opinion) things they have done to themselves all the time (driving too fast and get in an accident, fall off of a horse, get an infectin from a tatoo, etc., etc., etc., JMHO Dawn--South Suburban Chicago area Dr. Hess, Bowling Green, OH BPD/DS 4/27/00 www.duodenalswitch.com 267 to 165 5' 4 " size 22 to size 10 have made size goal no more high blood pressure, sore feet, or dieting
