Dear colleagues:

Many of you have asked me to share with you the content of

the recent tribute to at the Western Stream Migrant Forum last

week in San Diego.

Farmworker Justice has put together a very nice web page that compiles the

Please know the written words do not convey the passion and

energy of the talks or the feeling in the room, but I am sending this to you in

response to your requests and in the hopes that many of you will contribute to

the Memorial Fund if you have not done so already.

As I said in my talk…”More than anything, I know

wants us to keep up the fight and raise our voices for the farmworkers

she was humbled to serve. We must do that for and we must do that for

the farmworkers we serve.”
