Guest guest Posted September 28, 2001 Report Share Posted September 28, 2001 There are a couple of reasons. First, it is hard to bend when you have a big incision on your belly. I could reach there just fine before surgery, but those days in the hospital were rough as I couldn't move very well. The baby wipes can help if your bottom gets sore from excessive use. I also had hemroids that blew up like cherry tomatoes and plain toilet paper hurt. By the time I got home, I could bend well enough to reach OK, but the soreness was there for a while. Kathy M.
