This is my first post! I've been lurking for the past 6 months.

Yesterday I started the 3 day protein feast from the OSSG-Protein

group and I lost 2 lbs already! I've lost 80 lbs since my lap RNY on

6/10/02. All within the first 6 months! I made some mistakes! FIRST

AND FORMOST I DID NOT DO ANY EXERCISE UNTIL 10 MONTHS POST-OP. BIG

MISTAKE. I snacked on crackers and other carbs which were addicting

to me. The reason I'm doing the feast, all protein shakes and water

and vit only for at least 3 days is to jump start my weight loss and

reset my pouch and kill my desire for carbs.

Wish me luck. I still have 20 lbs to lose before my full tt on 8/11/03

I've been walking 3 miles 2 to 4 times a wk and doing weights for my

upper arm area. In the last 2 months, it's made quite a difference

in my appearance but my weight has not moved except for the same 4-5

lbs I've gone up and down in that time period.

Do you honestly think I can lose the 20 lbs and continue to lose more

if I stick to the program of protein shakes, exercise and weights?

This group has been very helpful to me. I've learned alot from

reading the post daily. Now if only I could live what I've learned.
