I was scolded the other day because I was drinking 4 cups of milk per day to help get my protein. The NP said I should be drinking 3 cups max due to the calories. Guest guest Posted May 30, 2004 Report Share Posted May 30, 2004 After surgery, I lost slowly, then NOTHING for almost a month. So don't worry, this is not unusual. I still plateau for a few weeks at a time, too. Extra exercise gets me jump-started again. I also replace one meal with a high protein fruit smoothie (use frozen) with 1 tbs of flax oil. 11/18/03 284/249 preop/167 7 lbs from Dr's goal!!! > > Like after every 10 lb loss...
