Guest guest
HI all, Talked with Gail tonite and she is doing remarkably well. Doesn't feel like eating much, so going quite slowly with that, but has had some jello and a little broth. She is in some pain, but overall OK. Getting in and out of bed is the hardest part. She doesn't have a bariatric bed, so she has to use her arms (strenghten those upper bodies, all!) and can't swing her legs over the way they expect her too ...doh!! IF you are not 350lbs or more (generally speaking) they do not put you on a bariatric bed. (However, some find those just as uncomfortable). I was impressed that Rabkin has come every day to see her. She felt good about that. She says hello to everyone. She is actually going home tomorrow, and will probably jump on the computer soon. Hawkins Preop / BMI 60 / 240 to lose / 150 lbs bound! Consult Sept. 13 Rabkin in SF ****** Hoping soon for a switcheroo! *******
