Guest guest
, I've been working with Aetna over the last 3 years - through my first surgery, orthodontia and now my second surgery, on Thursday. Initially, my surgeon gave me an $80K estimate - for everything inclusive. With two different Aetna plans, very little of that has come out of my pocket. As long as the procedures are validated by a medical condition (for me that was TMJ) they seem to be very helpful. Good luck with everything, Carol > We just learned that Cigna will not pay for this procedure or the > hospital costs. But I am not going to be ready for the surgery until > 2006. Guest guest
It might be worth your while, and your $$$ to find a lawyer who specialises in such, and ask him to fire off a letter (for which you would pay) to demand a review. Two other suggestions: Get your surgeon involved, and get the human resources department at your workplace involved, as well.. C.
Guest guest
Diane~ I totally understand your frustration. My husband also works for the largest hospital management company in the country and they have HORRIBLE insurance. Cigna does not pay for anything. We do not have the rider at this point but need to check to see if that will change anything with regards to the coverage of this procedure. Good luck to you. > > We just learned that Cigna will not pay for this procedure or the > > hospital costs. But I am not going to be ready for the surgery until > > 2006.
