Congress passed a law saying if you had continuous coverage, they have to cover everything *** its a 63 day lapse in policies, cobra, doesn't matter then 'pre-existing' kicks in. even if you have no insurance for 30 or 60 or 62 days, if a new policy begins on or before day 63 there is no such thing as pre-existing. just been there, done that. survived 30days on edge with no insurance because the damn cobra had to be paid for 90days in full prior with a cost of several thousand - just couldn't do it. knowing we only needed it for 30days they wouldn't allow me to pay for 30 either - had to pay for 90 and be reimbursed..... ya right! sue Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
