Thanks Bee - well said. I was support person for my daughter-in-law and she for me the first time I embarked on this journey. She made it - I didn't. I'm still (or once a-gain) starting the process. I went with her the first time and alone the second. Either way, I felt supported by the Kaiser staff and everyone in the room. It's obvious we're not doing this alone. It just feels like it sometimes. God bless. you bring someone you might not meet anyone who will be mirroring your steps/progress..... I went by myself and met the greatest friend that was 2 weeks behind me. We met 1-2 hours before each meeting and put on our walking shoes and walked for an 1-1/2 hours...and caught up with each other...On rainy days, we walked inside Kaiser and become very well known to all the staff cheering us on.....we are still great friends....
