annual Western Migrant Stream Forum offers a variety of

workshops and sessions designed to meet the needs of clinicians,

administrators, educators, outreach workers, advocates, researchers,

students and others dedicated to serving migrant and seasonal

farmworkers. Join us as we learn about current issues, policy,

and programs related to the health of this population.

MIGRANTE

Due to high demand, we have added additional space for the

Casa del Migrante tour. There is now space for 45 participants,

but it is filling up fast. Register today to secure your spot on

HIGHLIGHTS

During Friday's Opening Plenary we will hear from

internationally acclaimed Human Rights activist, and San Diego native, Enrique

Morones. Enrique is the President

and Founder of Border Angels, an all volunteer group that helps to save

the lives of migrants by placing water, food and blankets in the desert

and canyons along the U.S./Mexico border.

Dansie will be our keynote speaker

during the lunch session. o is a dynamic and inspiring

speaker, trainer and Clinical Psychologist, who is widely regarded as

an eloquent and accessible contemporary expert on cultural

diversity.

The Casa del Migrante is a migrant safe house located on the

U.S./Mexico border in Tijuana.

Founded by Scalabrinian missionaries on April 4, 1987, the Casa del

Migrante provides an array of support services to male

migrants.
