Guest guest
I LOVE to wear red! I have BRIGHT red hair with LOTS of gold...some would call it brassy...I call it FLAMING HOT! LOLOL It has taken me YEARS to teach my hair dresser that THIS was the color I wanted. She kept muting me down. NOT my style!!!! So, I wear orangey/reds .... Lots of orange....a little peach (sort of too muted for me) and GREEN in almost any shade!!!! Love purple too...don't know why...but I just love it. Green is my favorite, however. And lately, black....now, as a MO person...LOL I never did go in for black unless it was a formal occasion! I figured I couldn't HIDE how big I was, so I might as well ..... Not flaunt it....but just wear what made me happy. And color made me happy. I shopped LOTS out of catalogs...some Large women shops...spent a SMALL fortune in clothes...had the good luck of being in Large cities when I was working....that had some VERY NICE Large women shops. Spendy....but some of them did do lay-a-way and I also shopped their sales. When they had sales...WOW!!!! I have to say, my taste in clothes hasn't changed MUCH. If it sparkles I will wear it! Drives nuts, who finds it LOUD. LOL But then he can't say much...he wear Hawaiian shirts all year round. LOL I am having such a hard time at the dog shows... over clothes. My tastes run to romantic flowing skirts....I found out the hard way...not a good thing to wear in a dog show. The skirt flows and blocks the view of the dog. I was so embarrassed when the judge said....your skirt is blocking my view of YOUR dog...please do the down and back again...and this time HOLD YOUR SKIRT OUT OF THE WAY! Ewwwwwwwww not a good thing. None of my summer clothes are good for dog shows. So I am back into khaki pants and what ever top I can find that morning. ICK!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
THAT is MY problem!!!!!!! I just can't STAND to do dull and Frumpy! I can do classic....but NOT dull and frumpy. Not to mention you see them in these suits with short skirts....and there is NO WAY JOSE I am wearing skirts that short or tight. I can't kneel to stack (make them stand pretty) my dog...so I have to bend over or teach them to self stack. You can't do that in a skirt that is above the knees without embarrassing yourself. So, I have some semi-frumpy outfits, but they don't have pockets...so I use an OLD evening bag as a bait bag (that is where I keep the yummies they work so hard for). I keep thinking that if I do classic maybe someone will catch on! LOL Debbie in Gig Harbor (170cm medial)(dreaming in LALA land...cause no one will ever catch on!) ladybostons@... http://www.cafeshops.com/copsstore Re: dont make me come out there and dress you/Red and red heads Deb, I thought that most people wear very dull, even frumpy clothes at shows so as not to detract from the dogs. Is that true, and if so, how do you deal with that? ) in NJ ***********************
