Guest guest
Work today was...interesting. I monitored during the IOWA test and then the rest of the day showed a power point telling about my surgery and answering questions about the sugery. The kids were great. All full of hugs. They said I look really young like 13 or 14. It must be my swollen baby fat cheeks! Honestly I amnot going to make it the whole week. I am exhausted. It felt great to be back but parts of my lips regained feeling today. I guess from talking so much. It felt like the left corner of my mouth was getting stuck in all the wiring. Also my face began to hurt and jaw and what felt like my teeth pulling apart. Another weird and uncomfortable thing was that the roof of my mouth feels like I ate something really hot and its burnt. It feels soft like cottage cheese around the palate which makes me wonder now after the upper palate widening...what is under there?? I know I am a big whiny baby today. Emotionally it felt great to be back at school, physically...I felt like I got all my feeling back in one day and it didn't feel too good. I guess now that I can feel the corner of my lips I need to utilize my wax. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I'm going for a nap. Guest guest
Congratulations on your big day. The kids' excitement to see you today and greet you w/hugs is a testament to what a wonderful teacher you are! Please take it easy and listen to your body. > >Reply-To: orthognathicsurgerysupport >To: orthognathicsurgerysupport >Subject: [Orthognathic Surgery Support ] !Work >Date: Mon, 14 Mar 2005 22:03:43 -0000 >
