Guest guest
> Hey , Don't know where you live, so there might not be one near, but there is always the local renaissance faire where you can achieve your fantasy. I worked the So. CAl. ren-faire for many years and in fact own several hoops and gowns. I used to do a lot of historical dance stuff, so I have n gear and an gear and Regency stuff as well. > I may not be gay, but I am a designer! and seamstress and engineer, too. > Someday, I hope I can dance again, and maybe I will use all the collected fabric I have for new skinny costumes.=big sigh= I want a freaking Date for the dang surgery! > ohhhhhh.... Naaaaan...?? umm.. don't suppose I could discuss some places to find Renn wear that aren't hideously expensive..? I want garb this year.. plus my hubby wants to get re-involved with our local canton of the SCA... so I just perked up when I heard Renn... <G>. Guest guest
Okay, I am 5'2 " 188 and I wear a tight 14 jeans, but mostly 16's. Up top I can wear anything from Med to Large and some XL's. This irks me to no end, mainly because I can still wear some of my old large clothes. Why do they have to make so many sizes different with different brands? > > > I've been reading a few months, June 3 had me a year out from my > > Rny. Guest guest
It was once explained to me that the more expensive a piece of cloathing is, the larger the garment is for it's printed size. So a size 6 dress that cost $400.00 is larger than a size 6 dress that cost $49.95 > > > > I've been reading a few months, June 3 had me a year out from my > > > Rny. Guest guest
Fay, Even after hernia repair and a pannus removal, I still have the same problem you do--upper tummy sticks out further than my boobs. It is definitely a bummer and a problem with clothes. Went shopping today and bought small pants and 2X top. I started out in a tight 48DD bra and am now only down to a 46D after a 96 lbs loss...go figure. Oh, and I'm only 5' tall to boot. Beth fbayuk@... wrote: I was wearing a gorgeous size 16 dress yesterday trying to figure why 16's are still a problem at 168 " . I have just gone through the before and after pics on AMOS and I think the problem for me lies in the midriff. You know that part between the waist and the boobs. My midriff sticks our further than my tummy and boobs. This adds to my size problem.
