Hiya Jane.

My surgeon says it's 5 1/2 weeks to heal. I told him I am very fast healer.

He didn't buy it. I also felt a bit " shafted " and like maybe I was crazy

that I didn't get all the answers in advance but the doctor does make it

sound like it's less of a big deal than it is... Maybe we have the same

doctor. I was 103 lbs. at surgery. For the first two weeks I was wracking my

brain trying to understand how a doctor could, in good concience, put me on

a liquid diet for almost 6 weeks. Then I stopped thinking about it. I'll

live. Not that it doesn't suck, but I'll live. I have never dieted in my

life and I had an epiphany... And I know this sounds really, really mean,

but I finally understand why heavy people are usually considered jolly or

mean. The mean ones are dieting and the jolly ones are not.
