Tell him about the problems you've had (obviously you will!) and ask about the banding. I understand.... I was SO SO looking forward to my braces and surgery. It's weird, but I understand you on that one!!! I look forward to every appt. I have with the doctors! I am sure I am the only one in my ortho's office that is as happy to see him as I am! Paying out of pocket is painful... I am putting out 4k all by my lonesome. That's of course after my parents wasted their good money the first time around on the other ortho! Ask the new ortho office about payment options. I have a pretty flexible payment schedule and am not being charged interest or anything. I can take my sweet time paying my braces off. Anyway, good luck and we will be expecting to hear the full report!! Hang in there!!! This will happen for you! If the new ortho is put off by your problems, maybe even he can recommend someone he knows of who would be better qualified.
