Guest guest
Soaking nuts has been an absolute blessing for my digestion because they DO get more digested now. I am not able to tolerate several SCD legal foods, namely yogurt, CDDD cheese or fruits/juices except small amount of blueberries so nuts really round out my diet. I was having a problem with constipation as well as too much output but didn't want to give up nuts. Then I read that soaking them could help and it really did. I still try to keep daily nut consumption at 2 ounces because I also eat baked goods made with almond flour. Go soak yer nuts then bake em! It's a good thing :-)
Guest guest
Interesting that you bring up the mold issue. I am now wondering how long the nuts should be soaked for & how long and at what temperature should they be dried at to avoid mold? > > >I've seen several mentions of soaking nuts & > >then dehydrating them.
