I had the same question - Dr. K ( I think) said to call and they'd prescribe

something. My memory about this is a bit fuzzy but this is my best

recollection.

Don't ever hesitate to call them. They want you to work with them with any

problem or question that you have. It is better than leaving the matter

unresolved and perhaps grow into a greater problem. They are so nice -- and

so very accomodating!

I think your best choice is to be honest and up-front. Let them know

about how minor it is. There may be time to dealy the pre-op tests

without delaying surgery, or they may go ahead with it. I think that

the sore throat would effect only the pulmonary tests, so maybe they

can do all the other tests. Talk to them.

If you have or have had a fever it may be a problem but if not then the sore

throat could just be caused by drainage caused by slight allergys to the

changing seasons.

Pennie, 31lbs. in one month I think is great you should be proud of yourself.

I don't know how fat burners work. So be careful. Everyone loses at a

different rate. I lost about 20lbs a month at first-give or take a few. They

have a site you can go to to see if your on track or not. Sorry don't remember

it, but others here should be able to tell you. Keep up the good work!! Cindy

Why would people even say your not losing fast enough?

That's crazy! Before you know it, people will notice

how much weight you've lost. What other diet coulc

you have lost this much weight in 1 month's time? You

don't need diet pills or fat burners-that's why we had

this surgery is to stay away from things like that

that didn't work in the past.

Don't listen to what other people say!!!! Take care of your body and

do all the necessary things, follow the rules and the weight has no

choice but to come off. Suggesting diet pills and fat burners is

nothing but ignorance and stupidity on their part.

Ask yourself when the last time you lost 31 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks.

To me it sounds like you are exactly where you need to be.

Keep up the great work!
