Guest guest
Francis, I had the surgery for the primary purpose of sleep apnea. I also had an open bite and my lower jaw was small and very far back. The upper was moved 6mm forward and 6mm up, then the lower to match. I am now 18 months post and my airway is nice and open. I wasn't on CPAP. I am a respiratory therapist and know exactly what it is, and how it works. And I also knew that I didn't what to use it. Anyways, please ask any questions you have. You may email me directly if you want to. a > > Has any one had a maxillary mandibular advancement for the purpose of > curing Sleep Apnea?
