Guest guest
Hi All, I have been reading all the postings how syn-flex seems to be quite the miracle drug for arthritis pain.... I have severe bone on bone arthritis in my hip that stems from a childhood injury...Currently, I have no disability insurance so I have had to postponne my hip replacement for a bit and am currently taking percocet on a regular basis for pain (basically so I can walk) I have asked my doctor about synflex wanting a script and she has no idea what I am talking about. So... whats the scoop... is this a homeopathic remedy? If so where can I get it? Is it safe for us to take? Well tolerated? any possible side effects? Thanks to all Cunningham > Becky, > > Only you can decide this for yourself. As you know if you read this list regularly, some have had severe problems from Vioxx; others are taking it, prescribed by doctors who say it is safe. Personally, I take it because my joints feel like I'm 100 years old when I don't and my doctors say they are watching closely and feel I will be OK with it. Honestly, it makes me nervous, but I am taking the chance. I have ordered a months supply of Syn-flex and when it arrives, I will stop the Vioxx and try it for a month to see if it works. I can get away with the Vioxx every other day, sometimes skipping 2 days, and my doctor says it is OK to do this. > > Hope this helps. > > H. > > > original message: > > Date: Wed, 9 Jul 2003 11:32:50 EDT > From: BeckyR1872@A... > Subject: Re: Re: Vioxx - OSSG > > My doctor just started me on vioxx for what he thinks is a hip problem which > is radiating into my groin.
