Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I don't post often, but thought I would take an opportunity to let everyone know about this protein at Costco. The name is Pro-Rated 100% Whey Protein ... let me give you the info: Serving Size 1 scoop (30g) Servings Per Container 90.7 (yes, 90) Calories 120 Total Fat 1.5g Saturated Fat 1g Cholesterol 0mg Sodium 55mg Potassium 170mg Total Carbohydrate 4g Dietary Fiber 0g Sugar 2g Protein 22g Ingredients: Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Glutamine, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose (or Splenda) The protein grams aren't as high as some others, but see the following info ... There are TWO BEST things (sorry, I couldn't decide which is better) about this protein: 1) It tastes good!! - all three flavors. The Bavarian Chocolate tastes like a chocolate shake (or add some instant coffee to it and you have mocha capp-like shake); The Alpine Vanilla tastes like French Vanilla ice cream (yummy with instant coffee also); The Strawberry Dream (?) is amazing - even has little pieces of dried strawberries in it; 2) You get 6 pounds of powder for $19.89 (OMG - how's that for price???). I am going back to stock up today - already bought four containers!! And one more thing ... it mixes completely with no residue left in the bottom of your shaker or cup. I love my Isopure but it always leaves gritty stuff in the bottom of the cup, and my Mocha Capp is kinda hard to get mixed up. BTW, I just went out to their website - www.proteinusa.net - and they are charging $29.++ for a 5-pound container. Costco must be getting a really good deal! Just wanted to let any Costco members know that the protein is available ... I even took the time to fill out a comment card asking them to keep stocking this item! Take care everyone ...
