Guest guest
Dear Debbie in Gig Harbor, I'm from Beverly Hills, and speak about vain -- I wouldn't wear a medical bracelet until I could fine one 18 k gold, and very slim. Since I couldn't find what I wanted, I took a favorite gold bracelet to a jewelry maker/repairer, and asked him to put a slim piece in the center of it that had a medical emblem on the outside, and engraved on the inside that I am a diabetic, had gastric bypass, and NO N/G tube without scope, along with my doctor's name and phone number. The writing is so small I can't read it without my glasses, and I wear it with my gold watch as a bracelet. I've worn it over 10 years now (only recently had the gastric bypass info added) and no one ever knows it's not a regular bracelet except for medical personnel -- they comment on it as it's so unusual. Go ahead and be proud, but WEAR a MEDICAL BRACELET! All the best, -- Naomi The only disability in life is a bad attitude. -- Hamilton
Guest guest
ROFLMAO! Debbie, I'm with you on this one! But, I was thinking of maybe an ankle bracelet. I was always worried about losing it and not realizing it, but if it's a Medic Alert (meaning not diamonds:)), it wouldn't bother me as much. in NJ *********************** > > I have to say I have considered a Medic Alert. BUT....ok...I am VAIN!!!!!!!! > I haven't seen one that I like well enough to wear ALL the time. LOL They haven't come out with a diamond tennis bracelet one yet. However, it has been several years since I have looked into this, so maybe there is something new that I might be willing to wear. Yeah, OK...I know!!!!! I AM VAIN and I only wear GOOD jewelry. (or vintage rhinestone. LOL) > > Debbie in Gig Harbor (170cm medial) > ladybostons@p... > http://www.cafeshops.com/copsstore
Guest guest
, I looked last night and STILL haven't seen anything that trips my trigger. Sheesh. Talk about being picky! LOL I don't necessarily want diamonds on a medic alert thingy...but I am not into silver and it seems that all the fun stuff is in silver. Their prices on gold necklaces are outrageous....so I would buy the necklace somewhere else. HSN usually has pretty good prices on chains. I saw charms too, but I don't like charms on my bracelets. BOY, talk about picky. LOL Debbie in Gig Harbor (170cm medial) ladybostons@... http://www.cafeshops.com/copsstore -----Original Message----- From: watnext2001 ROFLMAO! Guest guest
Well, of course you're picky...it's jewelry! ) I don't wear silver, either and, although white gold is very in right now, I always gravitate towards yellow gold...oh, and diamonds, of course!
