Since it needs to remain cool, they provide a free cold-pack in which each bottle comes wrapped. I normally order around three at a time. They have a fairly modest flat-rate shipping fee (which I can't find at the moment). But I normally get almost all of my supplements from them (they carry a HUGE variety of brands of virtually everything I need -- including Larabars!), and if you spend $100 the shipping's free.[They also carry Jarrow Formulas brand for $12.71 a bottle. But the Jarrow has MOS (MannanOligoSaccharide) added.] n-- Now available. Guest guest
I feel so unknowledgeable in supplements... but should everyone take s. boulardii? I'm on the C side (always). Wikipedia said this helpswith D but doesn't mention C. I know that's for the syndrome but they say it helps with UC. I've been trying to make yogurt. Can't tell if I' doing ok with that. I seriously would like to just eat chicken broth because my head hurts from thinking.Irritable bowel syndromeA prospective placebo-controlled study found patients with diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) had a significant reduction on the number and consistency of bowel movements.[8][edit]Inflammatory bowel diseaseFurther benefits to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients have been suggested in the prevention of relapse in Crohn's disease patients currently in remission[9] and benefits to ulcerative colitis patients currently presenting with moderate symptoms.[10] The recommended dosage is three 250 mg capsules a day (TID).[citation needed] S. Guest guest
Hi , Sorry, I am not updated about all the new folks on the list. What are your complaints and your diagnosis? S Boulardii is a " good yeast " IMO it should be taken on and off and on off again for some of us. Do you suffer from yeast issues or antibiotic damage in any way? Do you feel you need more of a probiotic effect in your system? Please provide me with some info so I can better understand your needs. Guest guest
Jodi- Why should I be careful about taking S. boulardii. I have yeast issues and I have started taking S. boulardii 1 cap/day. Do I have to go on and off on S. boulardii? Can I increase it? Kat- Imuran is great, if it works. It worked for me and for a number of others with hardly any noticeable side effects. I would try it. Guest guest
Jodi, What about blanched almond flower? Is it OK somewhat early on? I have been improving tremendously the past week from spotting a slight candida overgrowth and watching foods closely, but I would like to add a few more carbs and fats. I couldn't handle organic almond butter so I ordered almondie butter from digestive wellness since it is blanched. But will a bit of blanched almond butter hurt? Another thing you might try for variety is pecan butter -try grinding pecans in a food processor (a cuisinart) or a vitamix. Lots of people find that veryeasy. Then after a while of being comfortable at this level, a few weeks, month, whateveryou determine is right for your system, go on to blanched almond flour. Guest guest
Thank you. I suppose the only pecan butter is the one you make on your own? __________________________________________________________________ CD SCD 5 months Lialda, Purinethol Freeda Vitamins, L. Guest guest
Well, in the case of pecan butter, it is just not very commercially available. If you find one with nothing added, you're golden.MaraThank you. Guest guest
Hi Andy, No continue taking it. I just believe it is good to give S Boulardii as a supplement a rest every now and again. And restart it. This is good for all probiotic supplements really. Jodi > > > Jodi- Why should I be careful about taking S. boulardii.
