Vichysoisse can also be made with sweet potatoes, and is delicious

either hot or cold. I add a bit of ginger just to give it a bit of a

zing. It can be frozen, too.

Hi , thank you for the recipes and helping me move toward my goal.

two of my favorite recipes (besides soup in a can):

1. Sweet Potato or Yam:

microwave or boil potato to cook, then add 4 tablespoons of butter,

loose quarter cup of brown sugar, and a large dash of pumpkin pie

spice. mix together with a spoon until creamy, then add cream or milk

(you can get fake cream or half and half or milk if you need to) as

you blenderize until its the desired consistency. adjust the amount of

ingredients for the size of the potato, the above is for a medium

sized one.

2. Broccoli Cheese Soup:

mix in any amount of broccoli and cheese, then start out slowly adding

milk (again fake if you need it) while you blender until you reach the

desired consistency. you can add more broccoli or cheese after you

taste it if needed.

when i remember more i will tell you!
