Re: about going home after surgery

In my case, here in Canada, they want me to stay in the hospital for

at least 3 days. I live 7 hours away but luckily my mom can drive me

there and take me home. I was wondering the same thing b/c I

would've preferred to do this all on my own and not burden anybody.

Depending on how long you stay in the hospital they might be able to

make an exception as far as taking a cab home. From what I read on

this group, it seems that most ppl go home the following day however.
