Guest guest
Thanks,Kim, but I'm still confused about Sunsweet prune juice. I have read recent posts that say it is not legal, but several posts from a couple years ago say it is OK. There is no explanation given as to why it is no longer legal. There are no illegals on the ingredient list. Do you know anything about this? (I copied two old posts from Pecanbread below - I believe from 2008.) Hi , Prune juice doesn't fall under the same umbrella as other juices - it is more like tomatoe juice ie: if the label looks okay then it is fine according to Elaine. (It is because of the manner in which prune juice is manufactured). I double checked and the knudsen organic prune http://www.knudsenjuices.com/products/detail.aspx? groupID=9 & categoryID=55 & flavorID=172 & productID=242 looks okay. Elaine had no recommendations for a particular brand that I know of and I do believe that prunes are so sweet, no one would add more sugar. mom to -12, SCD 4/23/04 Pecanbread Moderator Thanks, > > > > > > I buy prunes and mix 5 prunes per 1 cup of water, put ot on simmer for an hour, and blend when cool. > > > > > > Misty kimble > > > CD - no meds > > > SCD - 2 years > > > > > > Sent from my iPhone > > > > > >
