Not everyone with surgery is a sugar addict. In fact, Morbid obesity is a description of the symptom, not the cause, therefore the treatment and results can vary. I believe, the lucky people that have the surgery, eat less and go on with their lives, do not appear on the boards, on TV etc. They go on with their lives and that is it. But, most of us here have problems post op. We have to really work it to keep from going back to where we were. We are one kind of addict or another and cannot really just cut back on some foods. We need constant support and that is okay too. I didn't see Carnie and don't need to. The woman needs to earn a living and is theatrical so Playboy is okay for her. NO, it showed her making banana pudding with condensed sweetened milk and talking about how when you cook it for several hours it carmelizes.....AAHHHH. *I think they did this on purpose to promote her new book - Still Hungry! also I agree to show the human/normal side of post op life. little do they know. sue
