Guest guest
Hi se, I'm so sorry to see you struggling . You have had a great loss actually, but I realize it is not as much as you had hoped for. It's highly unlikely that you have a mechanical problem but it's possible. I work with a number of Dr Sweet's patients in my program and I know he is an excellent surgeon. Patients rarely have revisions although he does do them for other surgeon's patients on occasion. It sounds to me like you would benefit tremendously from some individual support and therapy right now. My relapse prevention package would be great for you but you'd have to make a trip up here to Philly once a month for 6 months to do it. It's about a 2 hr drive from Baltimore to my office. I do have other patients (believe it or not) who travel that far from central Pennsylvania and New Jersey since what I do is pretty unique and they only have to travel here every 5 weeks or so for the regular program. Short of coming up here I believe you need to find help locally. Do you have anyone now? Or do you know anyone you can call? I can certainly get you some local names if you would like help with that. Do you attend any of Dr. Sweet's support groups. He has one now for 3 yr grads that you might get some support from. Not sure when it meets but you can call and find out. You are at a very important 'fork' in the weight loss surgery road se. And you've worked too hard to feel so bad about your accomplishment. Take care of yourself and try to get some help if you can. There are lots of difficult stages on this journey and all of them pass eventually. Take care, Carol Shrinkin' in Philly RNY-HUP -1998-135 lbs. Guest guest
se, Have you considered a therapist? I know, I know. I don't like admitting that I can't do things myself. But sometimes we all need a little help. It may help relieve some of the stress in your life and help you get back on track.
